The GR YMCA is willing to offer a free class or two to the neighborhood – let us know below what you would prefer!
The class options are:
Kickboxing/boxing
We’ve combined elements of boxing, martial arts, and cardio movement for a high-energy class that promises excellent physical conditioning, fat burning, and strengthening. Our YMCA Kickboxing class does not involve physical contact yet provides the authentic and challenging movement associated with full contact styles.
Gentle Yoga or Chair yoga
This class is perfect for those who desire a gentler Yoga class focusing on flexibility and balance. We will lead you through a warm-up, traditional yoga postures, breathing exercises and balance work.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a flowing series of movements practiced by the Chinese for centuries. It helps to improve concentration, strengthens the body, feeds the soul and helps to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing energy.
